About Michelle

When Michelle is not throwing her characters into life-changing danger, she wrangles young minds as a teacher and co-hosts a writing circle for fellow kidlit authors. Her entry for Life, Death, and Expiration Dates won the 2024 Young Adult category for the CANSCAIP Writing for Children Competition. She lives in West Kelowna, British Columbia with her husband, where they mastermind ways to launch their adult children into life and out of their house. She'd gladly let a shadow agency recruit her family if it means she can have more time to read books and write new adventures for her characters.
